I’m curious, would you be able to get actively involved if one was started at the school you teach at?

I would love to.  However, it’s tricky terrain for me.  I strongly believe in keeping my personal views completely separate from my teaching; I believe that it is my job to teach students how to think, not what to think.  As a teacher, I naturally hold a position of power and influence over students and I believe that it is wrong for me to allow my personal beliefs to have greater influence over my students simply because I am their teacher.  As such, none of my students know any of my personal religious or political views. 

However, if a student approached me to ask me to sponsor said group, I would definitely love to be involved.
